About the speaker:
LAN Jun is working in a company of USA as Research scientist. He has engaged in research and design of transducers and arrays for over 40 years. He has published nearly 40 papers and a book named “Array directivity and synthesis”. The Successive approach method invented by him is one of the best methods in this field and has significant meaning in theory and practice.
He has designed nearly 1000 transducer and several hundred arrays in his life. He has created two large software: one is a software for designing transducers by Finite element method that is very powerful and useful; The other is a software for designing arrays that is not seen yet in international market.
