Brief Biography:
Xun Huang received the B.Eng. degree in guidance, navigation and control form Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi'an, in 1999; the M.Eng. degree in automatic control from Tsinghua University, Beijing, in 2002; and the Ph.D. degree in aeronautics and astronautics form University of Southampton. Southampton, U.K., in 2006, respectively. He was a Research Engineer in real-time control laboratory of the GE Global Research Center in 2003. Dr. Huang received the Edison Technology Excellence Award in 2003 for his contribution to the GE wind turbine project. He was a Research Fellow in 2006 and became a permanent University Fellow in 2007, affiliated within the School of Engineering Sciences, University of Southampton. Now Dr. Huang is a lecturer in Airbus Noise Technology Center, University of Southampton. His research interests and hand-on experiences include control, electronics, plasma actuators, and parallel computation, especially for flow-induced noise control applications. |
