On Mar.16, 2010, Wang Xiaomin, Director of IACAS made an inspection to Beihai Station, which located in Qingdao, Shandong province.

Director Wang listened to the work report made by ZHANG Shengjian, head of Beihai Station at a welcome symposium and had discussions with young scientists and principles of administration departments of the station.

At the symposium, Director Wang said that Beihai Station had made great progress recent years and hoped all the staff members could work harder and try to make the station develop soundly and rapidly with the support of the institute.

After the symposium, Director Wang looked around the campus of the station and had a look at the new anechoic chamber, which is under construction.
