On Jan.22, 2010, the annual academic conference on Prediction Model and Key Technology Research of Mesoscale Physical Oeanographic Processes in Key Sea Area was held in Beijing. This research was a major project of CAS Knowledge Innovation Program. More than 30 deputies from IACAS, IOCAS, SCSIO etc. attended the conference. 

The principals of the 4 subjects and 14 sub-projects made work reports to present the research progress in the past two years. A warm discussion on research results integration and application followed. The conference not only concluded the results obtained in the past, but also drew a blue print for the project's push up in the future.
