In order to set a good beginning for the whole year, Weak Acoustical Signal Detecting and Processing Laboratory gathered all the members and held an academic seminar at the turning of the year.

The seminar was chaired by the Lab Director SUN Changyu. All the staff members and students attended the meeting. At first, Director SUN briefly introduced the mid-term examination situation of the key natural Science Foundation projects and summarized the wok in the past year. He asked the project principles and group leaders to submit the yearly plan in two weeks after the Spring Festival. He said if there was no plan, there were no definite goals for us. The strict plan was the guarantee for the successful accomplishment of the work.

Some colleagues made reports on the hardware design, software research and development and so on. Academician LI Qihu highly praised the achievement we obtained. At the same time, he put forward many suggestions. He said we should created more chances for our researchers to communicate with the international colleagues and learn more about the advanced technology in the international world.
