Under the motto of "welcome the Olympics, show vitality, improve health and physique, and promote innovation", the Fourth CAS Track and Field took place on Sep.2 in Beijing. Some 2,300 CAS employees and graduate students from more than 60 institutes competed in 33 individual events.

Under the lead of Deputy Secretary Wang Xiaomin, our institute sent a delegation of about 100 athletes and audience to join in the event and compete in 18 items. The athletes tried their best in the games and got good scores. Our delegation was granted the "Excellent Origination Award".
