The 2008 IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium (IUS) will be held in the Beijing International Convention Center (BICC) from Nov. 2-5, 2008.

IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium is one of most important academic gatherings in the international ultrasonic field. This will be the first time the IUS goes to Beijing, the capital of China. It is sponsored by IEEE and IEEE UFFC in cooperation with the Acoustical Society of China and the Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Now the staff members are busy with the preparatory work.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is May 4, 2008. The conference proceeding will become one of the most important reference in Ultrasonics study.
