The research on "Characteristics of Adhesion Interface and Ultrasonic Evaluation Method", presided by Prof. Li Mingxuan of CAS Institute of Acoustics, was successfully completed and passed the check before acceptance by the experts group of National Natural Science Foundation on Jan. 30, 2007.

The experts and professors in this program all together organized or participated 5 seminars on acoustic detection home and abroad and published 37 academic papers (13 SCI papers and 20 EI papers) and 21 conferences papers. Members of this program were also granted 4 invention patents (1 authorized) and 2 new practice patents (authorized). For the outstanding performance, the whole research group was awarded State Scientific and Technological Progress of 2^nd grade for one time, State Scientific and Technological Invention of 2^nd grade for one time and National Defence Scientific and Technological Progress of 2^nd grade for one time, respectively. During the whole program,  11 doctor degree and 5 postgraduate degree were also granted to the qualified students.
