"The 4th Workshop of A3 Foresight Program" organized by the Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IACAS) was held from Oct. 14 to Oct. 16 at the Grand Gongda Jianguo Hotel, Beijing.
More than seventy researchers and students from China, Japan and Korea attended this workshop, expecting joint research in complete solutions for interactive ultra-realistic acoustic communication on next-generation internet (NGI).
"The 4th Workshop of A3 Foresight Program": Ultra-realistic Acoustic Communication on Next-generation Internet
The "A3 (three countries) Foresight Program" is sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and Korea Research Foundation. It researches on leading-edge communication and media technologies for NGI applications, while strengthening ties of China, Japan and Korea in the fields of research and education.
This workshop was scheduled of one invited talk and twenty oral presentations, providing an exciting venue for the exchange of the most state-of-the-art research progress on ultra-realistic acoustic communication.
The previous three workshops were held in Beijing, Seoul and Sendai, and the fourth one came back to Beijing again.
