(CAO Ying from Key Laboratory of Noise and Vibration) On September 7, 2010, invited by Key Laboratory of Noise and Vibration, Prof M. N. Ichchou came from Central University of Lyon, France visited IACAS and gave two reports on "structure acoustic detection and active structure control".
Prof. Ichouchou, world-renowned acoustics expert, engaged in structural acoustic detection and control research for many years. Wave Finite Element method, studied by Ichouchou attracts lots of attention in structure acoustic detection area recently.
Ichouchou's report included two parts. The report in morning mainly introduced the basic principals of Wave Finite Element method, and the application of this method in complex structure sound and vibration; and the report in afternoon introduced their recent work in smart material and active, semi-active control of vibration and sound suppression. The reports are of great significance for understanding the structure acoustic detection and active control of structure acoustic.
