Invited by the IEEE Signal Processing Society, Prof. HOU Chaohuan, accompanied by Prof. HAO Chengpeng, Prof. WU Yongqing and doctoral student XI Junyi attended the ChianSIP2015 from July 12 to July 15 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. On the ChinaSIP2015, Prof. HOU Chaohuan gave a keynote speech.

Sponsored by the IEEE Signal Processing Society, the IEEE ChinaSIP is a newly established annual summit and international conference held in China for domestic and foreign scientists, engineers and researchers to report and present their latest progress in all theoretical and technological aspects of signal and information processing.

In Prof. HOU’s speech of "Development of Digital Signal Processing System", he mainly reviewed the important development of digital signal processing system on the basis of integrated circuit technique. HOU talked about the technical trend arising in recent years including high speed signal processing system, digital signal processing architecture as well as fusions of DSP,MCU,CPU and FPGA.

Prof. HAO Chengpeng and Prof. WU Yongqing also shared their research progress of “Performance Analysis of An Enhanced Two-Stage Detector” and “Waveform Design of Geometric Comb to Extract Target Phase Feature” respectively. And doctoral student XI Junyi exhibited a poster of “Bidirectional Fractionally-spaced Decision Feedback Equalizer Based on Soft Outputs Combination”.

The ChinaSIP2015 gave the participants opportunities to exchange thoughts with peers from home and abroad and it will do a great help to their future research.
