Professors from Linguistic Acoustics Laboratory of Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) visited IACAS on Dec.19, 2008. Prof. Dang Jianwu, Prof. Masato Akagi and Associate Prof. Isao Tokuda had a seminar with the researchers and students of Think IT lab and gave lectures on the recent progress of their researches, respectively. A warm discussion was followed. The professors also gave valuable advices to the students for the future development after sound communication.

IACAS kept on good term with JAIST for a long time. Owing to the effective cooperation, the researches of the two institutes were greatly promoted and upgraded. It was hoped that the two sides would hold cooperation in a lager scale in the future.
