On Nov.5, Prof. Penrose, Prof. Gavrilov and Dr. Duncan from Australia Curtin University of Technology visited IACAS Donghai Station and had academic exchanges with the researchers there. During the seminar, Dr. Duncan and Prof. Gavrilov made reports titled "Modelling and measurement of seismic survey signals in Austraian waters" and "The current role of global (long-range) acoustics in oceanographic, climatological and geophysical studies", respectively. After the reports, the three scholars had a warm discussion with the present audience.

This visit not only promoted the academic exchanges but also laid solid foundation for the future cooperation between two sides. After the meeting, the guests looked around the labs and showed great interests in our latest research results.
