The Chinese Journal of Interventional Imaging and Therapy (CJIIT) was established in Sept. 2004. It is published bimonthly mainly in Chinese by the editorial board of the Chinese Journal of Interventional Imaging and Therapy, and is a peer-reviewed medical journal for doctors, researchers, and health workers in the relative field of interventional imaging and therapy. It is sponsored by the Institute of Acoustics of the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS). The Division of Medicine and Health of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) is a cooperative sponsoring institution. The editorial board of CJIIT consists of 144 editors, including American, Japanese, and some academicians from the CAS and CAE.

CJIIT provides comprehensive coverage of interventional imaging and therapy, such as radiology, ultrasonography, materials and methods, pharmacology and nursing, including Special Lectures, Editorials, Clinical Investigations, Basic and Experimental Research, Methods and Technological Development, Rapid Communication, English Corner and Reviews. It is an A4 size journal with 96 pages and is distributed worldwide. Every issue of CJIIT costs $ 16, and the subscription price per year is ￥ 96 (postage charge not included). The journal can be ordered from the distributor or the post office.
