The QNDE 2010 (Annual Review of Progress in Quantitative Nondestructive Evaluation) was held in San Diego, California from Jun. 18-23, 2010. Prof. ZHANG Hailan from Ultrasonic Physics and Exploration Laboratory attended the conference on behalf of Institute of Acoustics and was invited to be the chairman of one non-destructive detection session.
The annual QNDE conference is a premiere international NDE meeting designed to be an interface between research and early engineering for the presentation of ideas and results to transfer to engineering development.
QNDE is sponsored by QNDE Programs and organized by the Center for Nondestructive Evaluation at Iowa State University in cooperation with the Air Force Research Laboratory, the Army Research Laboratory, the American Society for Nondestructive Testing, the U.S. Department of Energy, the Federal Aviation Administration, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration-LaRC, and the National Science Foundation (Industry/University Cooperative Research Centers). The proceedings from the conference are published by the American Institute of Physics.
