Owing to all staff members' hard work in the past year, Acoustical Society of China (ASC) honorably won the title of "Outstanding Academic Exchanges Society" granted by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST).

In 2007, ASC devoted herself in organizing several grand national and international conferences on acoustics and received good results. It made great contribution in promoting the academic exchanges between the colleges in this field, as well as the great development of acoustic study.
