2007 North Station Academic Seminar was held on Jan.8, 2008 in the multiple function hall of North Station. The seminar was chaired by Professor LIN Jianheng. Station Director ZHANG Shengjian, Party Secretary LIU Haochun, Deputy Director LI Xilu presented at the meeting.　 

The goal of the seminar was to promote the communication between the young scholars in North Station, as well as to upgrade the cooperation between different research groups. The atmosphere of the meeting was warm and harmonious. The attendants reported their experiences in work and study in the past year and had discussions with the professors on some key problems. The presented professors pointed out the deficiencies and put forward some suggestions. Meanwhile, they highly confirmed the achievements the young researchers obtained in the past year, and encouraged them to get greater progress in the new year.
