A signature ceremony for the joint clinical research base was held in Tai'an City Central Hospital on Jul.19. This base was cooperatedly established by the Medical Acoustics Lab of our institute and Shandong Tai'an City Central Hospital. Deputy Director Ju Qi of our institute and President Liu Yicheng of Tai'an City Central Hospital attended the ceremony and signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of each side. 　　

The Medical Acoustics Lab of our institute was set up during the third phrase of the Knowledge Innovation Program, which focused on the researches of the interactional mechanism and characteristics between Ultrasound and Human body; the mechanism and clinical research of ultrasonic therapy; ultrasonic imaging and its application in clinical medicine; the signal processing method of bioacoustics; audio acoustics and its application; the research and development of the medical treatment devices and health care equipment and so on. Since its establishment, the lab positively carried out a series of cooperation and exchanges with the related institutes, medical device production enterprises and hospitals. It tried it best to make full use of the valid resources, make enormous contribution to the medical acoustic technology research and promote the great progress in the achievement transformation.　　　　 

Our cooperation partner -- Tian'an City Central Hospital was a comprehensive medical center, which was full of clinical resources and HIFU research experience. By the combination of the respective advantages in talents, technology and research condition, the two sides were determined to promote the research and application of advanced medical technology and make more contribution to the society development and public welfare undertaking. The establishment of this clinical research base was a beneficial exploration and attempt for the Medical Acoustic Lab in the cooperation with the related sections of the national innovation system.
