Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IACAS) and University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) signed an agreement to set up a Network Data Transportation System and Control Laboratory on Nov.16, 2006.

This cooperated laboratory will carry out advanced theoretical and practical researches in order to provide pragmatic technology and excellent system for the modern IT industry. The aim of the newly established lab is to become a scientific research organization, which will make novel and fruitful research achievements in the future.　

IACAS and USTC has carried out cooperation hand in hand since 2003, such as cooperatedly cultivating undergraduate and graduate students, applying for setting the first national inter-disciplines doctor degree for network data transportation system and control majors, jointly applying and carrying out "The Chinese New Generation Internet (CNGI) project" and so on.

By establishing the cooperated laboratory, IACAS and USTC are bound to make their great efforts to fulfill the aims of carrying out scientific researches, improving teaching capacity and cultivating outstanding talents.
