On Jan. 25th, IACAS convened the 2012 annual commendation meeting to award the units and individuals that had achieved outstanding results amongst 2012.

Director of IACAS WANG Xiaomin, Party Secretary ZHANG Chunhua, Associate Director and Associate Party Secretary NI Hong, Associate Director MA Xiaochuan and LI Fenghua attended this meeting, as well as persons in charge and award-winning staff from the laboratories and administrative offices.

The winners of the “2012 IACAS Key Program Progress Award” were the Ocean Acoustic Technology Laboratory, the Underwater Information Systems Laboratory and the National Network New Media Engineering Research Center.

In addition, the National Network New Media Engineering Research Center and other two laboratories (centers) were awarded the first, second and third prize of the “Advanced Unit for Patent Application” respectively.

The ThinkIT Speech Laboratory with other two laboratories got the awards of “Advanced Unit for Software Registration”.

Besides, there were awards of advanced units and advanced individuals for government information and propaganda work, security work, quality work; advanced individuals for excellent papers contribution; excellent branch labor unions; excellent staff of IACAS and so on.

The annual commendation meeting was to commemorate the achievements for all the units and staff of IACAS over the past year. Meanwhile, it was also to encourage all to keep up high morale for the coming year.
