The acceptance check of "General towed sonar platform" was successfully held in Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The checkup was organized by the CAS Project and Financial Bureau and the 5 members of the examining group were from Peking University, the Project Department of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, Institute of Mechanics, CAS and so on. As the responsible party, our institute set up a team to accept the examination, including Deputy Director Zhang Chunhua, Director Ku Weiqun and some other related members.

The expert group carefully listened to the research reports and looked at the spot test results and related technical documents. After a warm discussion and full consideration, all the members of the group thought our research team successfully accomplished the R&D work and approved the new platform pass the examination. During the test, the device run stably and the test results showed every technical index has reached the required standard. With the help of this platform, the experiment got precise results and clear physiognomy images, which showed that this system was stable enough to perform sonar imaging.

The research and development of new devices is a basic but important part of science and technology innovation. Scientific design idea and innovative research ideology are the two important guiding policies to let this platform own many obvious advantages and originalities. The birth of this platform not only met the needs of research and industry development, but also presented a new kind of high technology with independent intellectual property.
